Talk/discuss/debate current affairs... which is 'anything and everything' - both local and international... from politics to religion to economics to sociology to celebrity - whatever's getting your goat - once it's interesting, and you're actually in the habit of reading a newspaper/book/webnews, it's 'in'. No particular viewpoint or knowledge is required, just an interest in what's going on in the world. Bring …

Laser combat is an outdoor gaming sport similar to paintball, but without the paint! Using invisible infrared light, laser guns can hit targets with pinpoint accuracy at 400 feet or more. Games can follow many different scenarios: team deathmatch, prisoner extraction, sniper missions, scenarios with medics and respawn points. Games are infinitely configurable: ammo, health points, and game time can all be changed to suit using the guns' onboard electronics. I currently own a large arsenal of las …

‘Positive Steps Seminars’ is an all inclusive meetup group that organises and hosts seminars. With the ever changing economic landscape we currently find ourselves in, there is a lot of self introspection happening. Social attitudes are shifting with more and more people looking for something extra in their lives. Often motivational speakers can open our eyes to a new world inspiring us through their own life experiences. Remember change & progression is within us all sometimes we just need a gu …

The Restaurants Association of Ireland was formed in 1970 with the initial goal of forming a strong lobby that would represent the industry at Government level on current issues of importance on taxation, and restaurant liquor licensing in particular. Branches were formed around the country, all of which still exist and indeed have expanded. The Association's efforts in 1986 to get VAT reduced from 25% to 10% was the result of the expert lobbying of a group of dedicated restaurateurs on behalf o …
